Nestled in a tranquil area, this lodge surpassed my expectations for both comfort and convenience. As someone who appreciates quality accommodation, I found the property remarkably clean and tastefully decorated. the kitchen was well-equipped with cookware and utensils, facilitating enjoyable meals, while an electric kettle was a thoughtful addition for a quick cup of tea. With two bedrooms featuring blackout blinds, our toddler's sleep schedule was preserved-a noteworthy detail not encountered at other lodges. Communication pre-arrival was efficient; Kerry and Bill promptly addressed any inquiries we had, enhancing our overall experience. One standout feature was the secure sprung auto-locking gates on the terrace, a necessary safety measure with both a dog and a child in tow. While the lodge provided substantial amenities, I felt the general ambiance leaned towards a standard family getaway rather than utmost luxury. the balance of comfort and price felt trustworthy. In summary, this lodge offers a solid option for families seeking a restful retreat with essential features, combining practicality with a few luxuries that make traveling with young ones easier.
